The world wasn't supposed to steal my childhood at four years old. But that's what happened when revolution ripped through Iran, unravelling every thread of our lives. Silence became a shield, a defence against a regime that controlled everything – from politics to whispers in the street. When escape became the only option, it tore our family apart. Leaving was like leaving a piece of my heart, my childhood diaries locked in a cupboard, I couldn't pack in the rush of escape, a silent witness to the life I was leaving behind.

Growing up too fast was the price of freedom, a freedom that meant living without a lie. This became the fire in my soul. I studied international criminal law, a dream fueled by the hope of one day holding the regime accountable for stealing lives. That same fire led me to Amnesty International, then to Persian diaspora media, where I fought against state censorship. For the past fifteen years, I've been a reporter, a producer – a voice on BBC World, London-based Manoto TV and Iran International TV.

The story, though, kept whispering. It led me to the science of consciousness, a whole new frontier to explore. In this age of technology, where the borders of space and time melts away, where connection reaches far beyond the physical touch, it’s our inherent oneness that becomes the compass guiding us forward. 

This is the story I weave now, not just through documentary films, but through music, dance, and a multi-layered exploration of what it means to be human, what it means to be connected. It's a journey of rediscovering that lost part of me, a quest to unravel the hidden truth, and find the beating heart that pulses through all of us.
